with my on blood,
died on my hands

i step into flames
im on my way back to leningrad
to meet my family

in unison with fading heart,
i witness as i’m in
Ballet macabre, in most poetic
yet horrific scene

Forever marked in child’s memory
I breathe out my last prayer of grief,

Helplessly knelt before
the shattered window
Moon lit corpse
lay still in silence, glassy eyes
